You guys should totally look in to showing Quentin Dupieux’s newest film, Rubber. The premise may strike you as silly, but the film is remarkably well-done. I highly recommend it.

Is there a way to get a notification of when movies change in my email so I can keep up with what is current and make plans to attend? I like this feature and would be glad to sign up for it.

I’m here on business and wanted to find a movie theater near my hotel and found this place. All I can say is I LOVE THIS PLACE! It is so my kind of hangout, love the couches and the atmosphere. Being able to text for a beer refill during the movie is absolutely fantastic. I had barely hit send and they were delivering it to me. I’ve already been 2x in the past week and will go many more times in the last week I’m here :)

We are a digital only theater, that means we cannot show a film until it has been released on Blu-ray or DVD. When this film is released on disk i think it’s a pretty good chance we’ll show it. Keep checking (it might be a few months till the release though).

    Hi-
Can I buy a gift certificate for a friend over the phone or computer, or must I come down and do it in person?

Hey :] yes, you can buy a gift certificate over the phone but we don’t really have a method of getting it to your recipient (we don’t mail anything and never have stamps around). You could arrange for them to come get it the same day or the next day after you buy it. Doing it same-day will ensure it doesn’t get lost in the piles. You can call for a certificate during the theater hours of (usually) 5pm – 11:30pm any day of the week. The only thing i would recommend is to check the evening’s showtimes before you call and try not to call in the 10 min before or after a showtime, we get so busy in that 20 minutes sometimes we can’t answer the phone.
Hope this helps, we are looking into a system to let people make purchases through our website, just not ready yet :]

I really would like to watch a movie in the living room theatre. How do I know which movie is playing in this theatre specifically as opposed to the theatre 1?

We decide which movies go into which theater before each showtime. Because of the differing sizes of theaters, if we sell more tickets to one movie we will put it in the large theater to assure seats for as many people as possible. Sorry, but be cant promise anything, you are more than welcome to call us at 541-762-1700 and we can give you an educated guess based on previous nights.

Do you know how long Contagion will be showing & if it will be shown again at 5:20 pm? My husband is having surgery on Jan. 11th, so it may be 2-3 weeks before we can come see it; & 9:30 may be too late in the evening for him to navigate around on crutches. Thanks!

Correction to my post a moment ago. Will it be showing again at 7:30 pm (not 5:20) because 9:20 may be too late. Thanks!

We typically rotate the films around to try and give everyone a chance to see them. We can’t promise to have Contagion playing beyond the written schedule but based on how well it has been doing it would be surprising if we dropped it soon.

I checked your schedule this morning to learn if we can see Contagion this evening and discovered, much to my dismay, that it isn’t on the schedule. My husband has been experiencing difficulties following his knee surgery a month ago, and today is the first time he has felt he could sit through a movie. The other movies you are offering are of no interest to either of us. Unfortunately, our Groupon coupon is good only till Feb. 29th. Is there any chance that Contagion will be coming back before the end of the month? Feel free to reply to my email address so I get your response immediately. Thanks!

We wanted to show it but because Disney is the distributor for whatever their reasoning is, they will not allow us to show it. :(

I’ve always been curious about this aspect of your theater. Your comment about Disney leads me to believe that you have some sort of legal understanding with the various studios and/or video labels of the films you show. I wasn’t aware that the studios made exceptions to the standard exhibition restrictions regarding home video software, but obviously they must. After all, you’re not exactly operating underground here. I’d be very interested to hear more about this. I’ll be visiting Eugene in May and I hope to finally visit your theater and see it for myself.
